In Loving Memory

Peggy Jo Turner

Peggy Turner
January 6, 1943-September 10, 2005

O God, from whom we come and to whom we return, we thank you for your servant Peggy.  For the gift of her life and all in her that was good and kind and faithful.  We thank you for your grace to her that flowed through her life into our lives.  We thank you that her death is past and pain is ended.  You are our help in times of sorrow.  Comfort us and strengthen us by your spirit.  That we may rest in your goodness and mercy.  We pray now for Peggy that she can rest in your light and love.  May she be surrounded by loved ones gone before and by your love and ours.  May your peace be with Peggy and with us all.

                                                Amen

From Peggy’s Family...

Your kind expression of sympathy is deeply appreciated

and gratefully acknowledged.

   Dear Weavers,

Thank you for your YEARS of

friendship to my Mom, Peggy.  You were all very special to her, as was the Guild.  All the cards you sent while she was sick and the beautiful bouquet at the funeral meant so much to us.  We also appreciate all the help and support you have provided to the shop.

        Sincerely,

                                    The Turners

Thanks Lise’

The September meeting was held at Skeins & Shuttles with Lise’ Mundwiller patiently and skillfully helping us learn how to make a Beadwork Bangle Bracelet.  Now we can each wear the bracelet we made along with the garment from our workshop last spring.

Also from the September Meeting...

Jennie is working on a Road trip probably for sometime in November.  Stay tuned.

Ellie, Lise’, and Jennie are working on a proposed budget for consideration by the membership.  We currently have $405.60 in the treasury.

The Guild Library is being temporarily stored at Jennie’s house so be sure to call her if there is anything you need.  She will bring items to the meetings when requested by members until we have a more permanent arrangement.

Don’t forget to visit the Guild Display currently in the downtown library.

Thanks Diane & Helpers!

                          October Meeting

The next meeting will be held Tuesday, October 4 at 7:00 PM at the home of Ellie Slusser.

If you are not clear on how to get to her home, please call or e-mail for further directions.

The October program will be given by

Margo and the topic is Rya Weaving.

November Meeting

The November Meeting will be held at the Historic Stevenson House in Metamora.  Shirley Adams and Ann Heisler of the Stevenson House Board will show us around so we can decide if it is a suitable location for our Guild Open House April 2006.

The November meeting topic will be planning for the Overshot Workshop to be held in January or February.  Jennie asks that we each come with a pattern selected and some ideas about the project we would like to do.
